Refund policy

This policy covers advisory services from WorkAnalytics Digital, including productivity trend audits, focus-time pattern reviews, collaboration load studies, and monthly trend briefings. We do not sell physical goods, software licences, or self-serve subscriptions on this site.

Eligibility

Refunds apply only to fees paid for a named engagement under a written proposal or statement of work. Informational prices on the website are not invoices and cannot be refunded.

Timeframe

Refund requests must be emailed to hello@workanalytics.digital within 14 days of the payment date for unused prepaid work, or within 7 days of a deliverable handover if you believe the agreed scope was not met. Later requests are considered only at our discretion.

Full refunds

A full refund is available if we cancel an engagement before kickoff, or if you cancel in writing before we begin discovery and no deposit work has started. If we have not accessed your systems or held a kickoff session, prepaid fees for that engagement are returned in full.

Partial refunds

If work has started, we may offer a partial refund equal to fees paid minus time already spent at the rates implied by the proposal, including discovery calls, inventory work, and drafted findings. Completed stages listed in the statement of work are non-refundable once delivered and accepted (or deemed accepted after five working days without written objection).

Non-refundable items

• Completed audits, reviews, studies, and briefings already delivered
• Monthly briefing fees for cycles already completed
• Deposits once discovery or data access has begun
• Third-party costs we incurred with your written approval (for example travel booked for an on-site briefing)

Deposits

Multi-week engagements may require a deposit before fieldwork. The deposit is credited against the final invoice. It becomes non-refundable once discovery starts, except where we cancel or fail to deliver the agreed first-stage work.

Cancellation and rescheduling

You may reschedule a kickoff or briefing once at no charge with at least five working days’ notice. Later changes may incur a rescheduling fee of up to 10% of the affected stage fee. Cancelling a monthly briefing retainer requires 30 days’ written notice; the current cycle already underway remains payable.

No-shows

If your team misses a scheduled briefing without 48 hours’ notice, that session counts as delivered for scheduling purposes. We will offer one replacement slot within 14 days; further replacements may be charged.

Work already started and materials

Draft inventories, pattern maps, and partial reports prepared before cancellation remain our working papers unless fully paid for. We do not refund time spent preparing access guides or custom measurement plans once shared with you.

Refund process and method

Email refund requests with your organisation name, invoice number, and reason. We confirm eligibility within five working days. Approved refunds are returned by the original payment method within 10–14 working days of approval. Bank transfers may take longer depending on your bank.

Exceptions

Statutory rights under UK consumer law remain unaffected where you engage us as a consumer. Most clients engage as businesses; business-to-business terms in the statement of work take precedence where they add clarity without removing mandatory legal protections.
